Carrie obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, articled at Fraser & Beatty (now Dentons) and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1996. Carrie established The Heller Group in 2005 after spending six years consulting with another legal recruitment firm.
Prior to her career in legal recruitment, Carrie was the Marketing and Research Director for a major health care association where she focused on business development, marketing strategies and business consulting services.
Prior to joining The Heller Group, she worked with a large financial institution to develop its compliance and risk management functions. Louise completed her law degree at Queen’s University. She articled with McCarthy Tetrault and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994.
Louise is actively involved in recruiting and placing lawyers, of all levels, into law firms and corporations. She is also the primary consultant for compliance and risk management related positions, as well as the key contact for recruitment in Atlantic Canada.
Sherri has broad experience as a litigator. Her practice focused primarily on corporate/commercial disputes and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Her practice also included securities and competition litigation as well as employment law, family law and constitutional law matters. Sherri has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, all levels of court in Ontario and administrative tribunals.
Jennifer obtained broad experience as a corporate and securities lawyer at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP where she articled and practiced for three years. Her practice focused on securities and M&A transactions including initial public offerings, hostile take-over bids, equity financings and reorganizations. Jennifer also advised clients on general corporate law and stock exchange requirements.
Jennifer obtained her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011.
